Compressed Air/Gas Cylinders Services Centre
(Appointed by the Hong Kong Fire Services Department as a service provider)
According to Regulation 145 of the Dangerous Goods (Control) Regulations, Chapter 295G, Laws of Hong Kong, pressurized gas containers need to be inspected or tested by an authorized person of the Fire Services Department in accordance with the Code of Practice or the container manufacturing standards and the frequency specified. HKUME factory is fully capable of handling the standard procedures for hydraulic pressure test of gas cylinder. We strive to maintain a high standard of quality control to ensure that the products and services provided could fulfill the customers’ requirements and the relevant laws and regulations.
Our Services Centre delivers hydraulic pressure test, factory acceptance test, descaling and repainting services for cylinders and replacement of cylinders valves services. Besides, we can provide expertise advice on safety management of gas cylinders inside a dangerous goods store.

Dangerous Goods Lorry and Rental Services
Our company’s dangerous goods lorry comply with the latest revised Dangerous Goods Regulations as of March 2022 and have been approved by the Hong Kong Fire Services Department for transporting Class 2, as well as Class 3/3A dangerous goods. These include gas cylinders such as oxygen and propane, as well as gasoline, flammable liquids, and oil residues.

Consultation service by Professional Fire Engineers
HKUME has a professionally qualified fire engineer team who registered under Engineer Registration Ordinance, Cap.409, Laws of Hong Kong to provide expertise advice on:
The application of Dangerous Goods Licence and the management of Dangerous Goods Stores in accordance with the provision of the Dangerous Goods Ordinance, Cap.295, Laws of Hong Kong and its subsidiary legislations; and
Organizing relevant fire talks and fire drills for high-rise buildings, shopping arcades and construction sites, etc. to enhance the safety awareness of staff in case of emergency.

Undertaking Building Fire Safety Improvement Engineering
In accordance with Cap. 572 Fire Safety (Buildings) Ordinance and Cap. 636 Fire Safety (Industrial Buildings) Ordinance of Hong Kong, we undertake services installation fire planning, survey, and production of building fire safety plans for the residential and industrial buildings. We liable to submit relevant documents to the authorities for approval and assist property owners in applying for government funding for fire safety improvement engineering.
